Kind of sad he isn't planning to write anything after fire force. Everyone needs to do something else besides just their passion though. Guess I'm going to read the manga at least until David Productions start on season 3.

I haven't read the manga but I really enjoyed the Fire Force anime and I'm sad the manga is about to end. I should go back and finish Soul Eater sometime soon. It's too bad this is going to be the mangaka's last work because even if he has issues at times you can't deny his creativity.

I'm sure the mangaka will continue to work with commercial illustrations and occasional one-shots. He can just relax and enjoy life and work at his own pace. Don't blame him for wanting out of the serialization schedule.

I've gotten so use to hearing about how this manga is ending "real soon" that now I'm actually surprised to hear that it really is ending soon, and in only two weeks too. But we will see if Ohkubo is telling the truth when he said that Fire Force will be his last manga.

Man it is sad to hear that it is ending. It was a good manga one I am not entirely caught up on as I am 50 chapters in.
