Hahaa, this promo matches the tone of Season 1's post credit teaser about as well as the One Piece: Baron Omatsuri poster does with that film.

Happy to see it getting a second season. J.C. Staff did a surprisingly good job in adapting the work and I hope that continues moving forward even with the untimely passing of Yuji Suzuki.

Glad it's officially confirmed, just need a date. The teaser at the end of the first season had a lot of viewers thinking it was definitely gonna happen, but it wasn't official until now. The passing of the director before the series finished is still really tragic. I hope the staff can continue to work on the series in his honor and it's not too difficult for them to do so. Aoki really carried the first season with his animation cuts. Also, shoutout to the series composer Yoshihisa Hirano. I heard a lot of people saying that EZ's soundtrack was living up to Fairy Tail's, but it really grew on me by the end of the season and after I'd listened to the tracks standalone. The four main characters each had unique leitmotifs, and the main theme was appropriately grand. Looking forward to new compositions as well.
And for anyone that's impatient, I still do recommend the manga. The first season covered up to chapter 68 and the most current chapter is 178.

I read the manga, but I have to say it's an improvement over Fairy Tail. I might watch the anime if the manga truly ends up wowing me, but Mashima's fetish insert stuff is easier to overlook in print form.

My only hope for the OST is that it has more variety within the show than the first season, which was a big gripe for me. For instance, whenever episode 2 cuts back to Rebecca and Happy's backstory, it uses the exact same track at the exact same mark. On the other hand, it's an excellent "moody" track on its own that matches how heavy the story can get, like when it plays as Shiki comes to grips with how his ability to fix his robot friends was a lie, or as he discusses mortality with his friends.

The "problem" with Eden's Zero OST is that FT had one of the greatest OSTs of all time rivaling even Saint Seiya's.
Some people are gonna feel underwhelmed no matter what, but it's perfectly serviceable.

Speaking as someone who has fallen out of love with Fairy Tail pretty hard, I have to agree that the OST is kind of phenomenal. It really carries the show during some of the worse parts. Honestly, the OPs and a few EDs are stellar too. I'm not surprised that Eden's Zero doesn't live up in that department.

I can agree with that. I will say I don't mind mashima's pervy bits as much in EZ since it feels more established early in EZ, whereas in FT his fetishes slowly kept getting more and more prevalent
