Yea, I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. I usually watched this during dinner time. It was good for few laughs!

Yeah, I really enjoyed this! It really reminded me of Gintama
John truly was the best part of the show. The episode where we got to see how he and Draluc met was pretty heartwarming. I also loved Draluc’s family, especially his doting dad and game-loving grandpa!
Can’t wait for S2!!

John. JOOOOOOHHNNN!!!
Very solid comedy. I enjoyed it very much! And there was a very sweet scene with Hinaichi and Draluc in the episode with the summer festival!

I think it should be pointed out that Draluc dying becomes just a gimmick pretty quickly and the story don't revolve around that past the first episodes, unlike other comedy show that have literally only one joke their entire run.

Wow, perfect description!

I believe John is a pink fairy armadillo, which are native to Argentina, and John is from South America. They are very small and long, while John is round, but he's a familiar now, so that explains the discrepancies, right? There's a more traditional-looking South American species called the screaming hairy armadillo, but it doesn't have that distinct demarcation between armor plates and furry underbelly that John and the pink fairies do. The screamers just have coarse bristly hairs all over, not the thick light fur of the fairies.

I'll buy it! I actually had no idea there were differently-furred armadillos. I'd say it's because they're anything but native to Northern New England where I live, but given all the other weird stuff I know, that's not much of an excuse.

I didn't find the first episode to be that great, but I'm glad I stuck with it as this turned out to be a great comedy. Looking forward to the next season

I'd say John's an armadillo because one was inexplicably in Dracula 1931 as well. Was it native to Romania? It didn't matter, it's Hollywood.
I liked the show and I'll watch season 2 if it's not out of my way. The show needs to lower the wall between Joke Vampire and Actual Threat Vampire though. It needs to be more of a surprise whether we should worry or not.

I dropped this after the first episode but I'm convinced to try it again, thanks for the review!
