I wish this show's title explained what an Isekai(did I spell that right?) was...it is such an unknown, new genre that I don't think anyone knows a lot about what exciting, innovative stories that can be told with it are

.... sarcasm? Seriously, even as someone who likes the genre (at least conceptually) I can't tell if you're being sarcastic. The title does need work though. It sounds like one of those titles meant to trick a search algorithm. |

It does look like it has a budget that’s typically higher than most of the standard Isekai’s that have been coming out recently. But you gotta remember, the trailers typically only show some of the scenes from the first few episodes. And those tend to get a bigger portion of the budget since that’s when you want to lure in the viewer with flashy animation. It’s very possible that halfway through the season the quality takes a nosedive only for it to come back up in the last few episodes for the big climax. I’ve seen plenty of anime that've done that. |

First we had Pekora, now Watame is joining the anime scene! Plus there's also Nene voicing a character in that assassins isekai.

I feel like you, or someone very similar to you, comments basically this exact thing every time there are a few comments that even hint at (not distaste but) exasperation with the genre. No one here is disparaging isekai and outside my very sarcastic remark regarding the title (yes it was sarcasm HAL14 haha) I'm not bothered by a bunch of samey, wish-fullfillment shows existing either. And your statement can easily get turned around anyway...yes, lots of people like isekai, but lots of people don't. Should I tell you to "deal with it" when your comment implies that you are (ironically) incapable of doing so? TL;DR: Careful you don't cut your own throat with that tongue. |

For an anime that has a very generic sounding name and premise the animation looks way better than I expected it to look. It's actually gotten me pretty interested in this show.

Not familiar with this title, but despite how generic it sounds, I'm definitely up for checking it out to see if it will be a fun fantasy anime =)

The manga adaptation for this is great. I have no idea what the LN art style looks like, but the anime art style looks nothing like the manga, so that'll take some getting used to. Yuji's deadpan reactions just aren't going to be the same. The slimes aren't as cute either. Oh well, still looking forward to this.
