Ah, poor 3x3 Eyes. One of my biggest wish list items is a full release of the series in the US. Unfortunately its release timing and poor publisher decisions probably sank any chances of that happening...

The OVA series definitely needs a re-release as well. I'd love to see the manga reissued as well. I'd love to see them keep the Rob Zombie introduction as well lol.

The OVAs rather infamously had an extremely poor Blu-ray re-release in Japan many years ago, so I wonder if materials issues are a good part of the hold up (going back a while, even - I think the Pioneer DVD is actually the best quality release, apparently??)

I kinda feel like a new anime might be the only way to get a manga as long as this back over here.

There's a endless list of manga titles that will probably never be released here in the US makes me wish I could read Japanese then I could just buy the titles directly from the original source. I would be interested in seeing any form of the original 3x3 Eyes manga or its follow up title released here in the states but that's likely another pipe dream for fans.

I seem to recall there being an animated teaser of sorts for a bigger, related project? Did anything proper ever come out of that?

Wait can someone please tell me why this is being mentioned only now? It said 2016!

And why are comments saying that it didn't get translated? At least it'd get fansub right?

Honestly, I think this story is underrated, especially mangas of this theme. I think this manga was a bit ahead of it's time. Albeit it's probably nostalgic talking since it's been a long time I've seen it.
