I can't see them changing McCree's name despite everything going on. Maybe they'll just drop the first name or shorten it to an initial? The general audience/player base probably isn't even aware of what's going on or who the name relates to and would just be upset with a complete rename
Definitely would be wiser to not name any major characters in your game after real life people in the future though.

I'd love to see Xenoblade 3 get announced and be out within the next 6 months or so. I hope we get a variety of guest artists for characters again like they did with the blades in XC2.
Though I'd be even happier if it was Xenoblade X 2 news instead. How about at least a port of the first game Monolith?

vira is not part of Season 2 also the only musos we missed were Strikeforce 2 (Multi Raid 2) a 3ds dynasty game, Samurai Warriors 3 XL, Samurai Warriors: Chronicles 2, and Musou Orochi Z other then that just some ports.

I wasn't all that interested in Touken Ranbu the browser game, but Touken Ranbu Musou? That I would definitely be willing to try. If Koei doesn't want to publish it themselves, I'm sure NIS America, whose games they distribute, might be willing to do it as a digital + limited physical release. Either them or Aksys, which would probably be an even better fit.

Touken Ranbu doesn't have any romance in it, so it's not an otome game. It is a joseimuke though, because the game is primarily marketed to women. It's a sword-raising simulator, so, you collect them and train them up. The fun part is getting to read their back stories and interactions between each other!

Oh yeah! I am very curious what the gimmick is going to be and whether the playable characters will be able to pilot giant robots. And also who the guest character designer is going to be.

Going by the context, it's not that the games themselves have anything wrong with them, it's that Heidi had named some of their units after real life people they were friends with/fans of. Years later and those feelings have soured due to real life complications, which makes it awkward to think about loading up one of those old saves and seeing the unit you had named in their honor.

I wasn't really that good playing McCree.

If they do decide to change his name it would have to be something story related, similar to Soldier 76 or Genji; like after an incident he underwent heavy modifications and changed his name with a codename. Only problem is that backstory would probably be too redundant considering the other two characters, maybe take it into a more evil direction (though not as evil as real life right now). And there's no telling who will carry over into Overwatch 2.

Who am I kidding? After this shitstorm I'm not certain anything else will ever be released in the future. I even deleted my Overwatch game to free up space.

-Indie World: As usual, loads of fun and unique stuff. I got Islanders which is a really chill strategy game

-ActiBliz: Haven't bought anything from these guys in years and I don't plan to ever again. Especially when it came out that the company repeatedly misgendered employees. Burn the place to the ground

-Xenoblade: I have absolutely no idea what to think of this
