a lot of people didn't like Voltron 3D but I loved it, was one of my favorites when I was a kid

Koplar played a big role in introducing a whole generation of kids to anime. For many, like myself, it all began with Voltron...

That's why Voltron is more remembered around the world

Otherwise, it'd be just one of the many giant robot series from Japan

It’s amazing what a lot of those local television producers did with their territory in the days before cable. Everyone knows about Voltron. A lot less people know about the real estate, that he founded a kickboxing organization that promoted some of the earliest Kickboxing vs Muay Thai fights (KICK, the sanctioning body he founded so his networks would have more content oversaw the famous Rick Roufus vs Changpeuk Kiatsongrit fight) and all the other stuff he did. A true Jack of all trades, so to speak.
