I wasn't a big fan of Toei's attempts at an adult Kamen Rider series with Shin and Amazons. Akibaranger was fun, but when I think 'for adutls' I assume gritty and serious. I suppose if it's a very otaku-focused and in-joked Precure it could work out well, but something in the vein of Magical Girl Raising Project wouldn't really interest me.

Naw, I'd want something more like a combination of Hataraki man and pretty cure... Or I suppose that's just sugar sugar rune, isn't it?

It is a kids' anime. The impression I'm getting is that these products are similar to Bath and Body Works's scented lotions, which don't interest that many young children.
This is cool, and I'm interested in both the "kids'" makeup and these cosmetics! Nice that they're making something to appeal to older fans of Pretty Cure.

It is, but the show isn't that far away from hitting its 20th anniversary, so there are presumably plenty of adults who remember the earlier seasons fondly from their childhoods (and, indeed, the characters featured in the merch they're showing off all appeared in installments that aired over a decade ago).
