That's too bad, I was enjoying this and thought the concept had legs

Shizumu Watanabe Majō no Sasageru Trick (Tricks Dedicated to Witches) manga ended in this year's 19th issue of Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine on Wednesday. The last chapter is titled "Majo ni Sasageru Torikku."

Is this the same title, transcribed differently?

Yeah, I was hoping a Jewish "witch" would be introduced. Sad

Not isekai-ish enough for Japan, huh? Meanwhile, another five "I went to another world, got magic powers and a harem" series got greenlit for anime.

Pity it's ending, Hope it at least gets wrapped up decently.

What I'd heard elsewhere on the Internet was that the mangaka actually requested the ending; he realized he was running out of steam on the magic stuff. Still, the door's open to do more, hopefully.

Dang. Weekly Magazine is kind of killing it... Edens Zero, Fire Force, Tokyo Revengers, Seven Deadly Sins... Now this gets cancelled and Tesla Note is getting a weird CG anime.

(I know 7DS has issues with its anime, but it's still a popular series)
