Interesting comment on the Muv-Luv Discord about this:
Quote: | FujiTV!?
If this is THE fujiTV, then we're talking about the biggest commercial tv network in japan
Also about +ultra: "While not being officially confirmed as a partnership, every anime on the block so far has been exclusive to the streaming service Netflix after the anime aired on the block at Fuji TV, and also carry the phrase "in association with Netflix" in the on-screen production credits. Similar to other anime series licensed to Netflix where the original broadcast is on TV, the episodes are out in Netflix Japan days after the initial broadcast and for overseas audiences, the anime are out months after the initial broadcast." |

That's some really good info on this - especially since not much has been said about the series beyond that it's airing. I'm really hoping it at least gets 24+ episodes & covers the whole story...

Muv-Luv on Netflix? Kinda wondering how that would work out.
I wonder if whoever gets it (and inevitably dubs it) will get the dub VA's for the Rumbling Hearts characters back.

Yeah, that’s the weird part for me, and why I kind of have a problem thinking it’ll come to pass. Muv-Luv is way obscure; even hardcore mecha fans in the West generally aren’t willing to embrace it. So having it pop up on the most widely-accessible streaming platform would be super weird. And that’s even aside from the ongoing argument of how they can even make this show work when Alternative is the third part of a trilogy, one that depends heavily on callbacks to its earlier installments.
