Calling it now, Retrocrush is putting up all of Kimagure in light of the creator's passing. Considering how important the show is, that's sweet of them to put it in the limelight and pay tribute to Izumi Matsumoto this way.

I don't think so. Discotek Media are the current license holders (or distributors, not sure if both). They have a partnership with Retrocrush and I believe they were the ones to distribute the show on Crunchyroll. So I think KOR is safe on Crunchyroll, until we hear news otherwise.

It's gonna still live on CR. The deal is non exclusive.
Just another option for viewing.

More viewing options for Kimagure is always a good thing-
It's a personal favorite of mine and a timeless show, I hope that newer gen anime fans watch it.

Oh please won't you come to the UK, Retrocrush? Why must you torture me so?
(Also I can't be bothered with the hassle of a VPN - tried that with other services before... too fiddly, too many different devices to set/unset)

Given the ethnic diversity of the 9 main cyborgs, "Cyborg 009" is an example of an IP that could do well with the live-action Hollywood treatment. Of course, even if well-written and faithful to the manga with what a movie running time allows for, it still could flop at the box office.

Alright, Kimagure Orange Road and Dragon Half? Sounds awesome!
I'm hoping that they also snap up other older, more forgotten titles like the Gall Force series. Yeah, that may seem ancient compared to nowadays but it was still good for its time (sans the last OVA) and deserves a second chance. Plus if they have Riding Bean, and the Bubblegum franchise, why not this one?
