I don't know if it's for the anime (but it can't be, since it's from Seven Seas, not Funi), but the description of the series used here is a bit different than the one for volume one of the light novels... and a lot different from the manga description:

Quote:
The second floor of the gym. That’s our spot. Class is in session right now, but they don’t hold class in a place like this. This is where Shimamura and I became friends. What is this feeling? Yesterday, I dreamed of kissing her. I’m not like that, and I’m sure Shimamura isn’t either. But…when Shimamura thinks of the word “friend”, I want to be the first thing that comes to her mind. That’s all.

Maybe I'm the only person ever who thinks this series is incredibly bait-y, but I feel like the manga description exposes what it really is... people throw around the term "slow burn"a lot, but how much time and money should someone be expected to waste to see if it becomes a romantic relationship, when after two volumes it's still one character can't decide if she has a crush or not, one character who's has no idea of what the other is thinking. And yet I have volume three all bought and downloaded... I don't think it'll surprise me.

The LNs are pretty advanced in Japan, so people already have material to know for sure it's not bait. But yeah, it's really, REALLY slow. I won't spoil, but I can say for sure it's about romance, not subtext or friendship.
