So MAPPA will have Jujutsu Kaisen and new original anime in fall, that JJK will have only one cour because of it? But is it me or MAPPA overmaking more animes nowadays? MAPPA is so oversaturated.

Well, this sounds pretty cool. At the very least is NOT about a freaking high school club so it should be more interesting than 99% of the other sports anime out there. I just hope the little sister's character is actually good and relevant to the story and not yet another annoying imouto anime cliché...

Maruyama Masao founded this studio on the premise of keeping the company and production to a minimum. So when he left the studio to found another one, it is safe to assume that the team remaining has decided they are going to expand as much as possible. |

I am actually in awe of just how much this anime is made for me.
I added "series about a male gymnastics team" to my anime fantasy wishlist four years ago, almost to the day - seriously, i checked back and I tweeted about it on August 14, 2016. I love Daisuke Namikawa. And then I find out the main character is a sad widower struggling with aging? And Kotetsu Kaburagi is one of my favorite anime characters of all time? Has someone out there been reading my Twitter? |
