Yeah, but for Japan, this is the expected voice of Starscream. If the screechy voice came from the style of Chris Latta, then the cool Japanese voice for Starscream came from the style of Hirotaka Suzuoki when he voiced him in the original cartoon.

Well, yeah, I understand that. Just saying that as an American, it's weird hearing Starscream not have his signature high voice.
Ah, Suzuoki... May he rest in peace.

Nice seeing Tessho Genda voicing Optimus again, though it's a shame that Peter Cullen and Frank Welker aren't reprising their roles in the English version.
Here in latin-america Optimus' voice actor from the Bayformers movie onwards decided to retire this year due to his age but his replacement has a very similar voice (in fact they share some roles/actors), while Megatron is being voiced by the same actor who voiced him in the Robots in Disguise anime, the Bayformers movies, as well as TF Prime. Until recently the Transformers shows were dubbed across different latin-american countries, but these days they're done in Mexico, where they only dubbed Beast Wars/Machines and RiD prior to the live-action movies and subsequent shows.
