I randomly saw on a Japanese TV station last night something that said that the highest-ranking foreigner in the art of Japanese archery is a guy named Liam O'Brien.

I've met him, the Kyudo sensei, not the voice actor. I was at this event in the UK and he had a Kyudo demonstration. Here's a picture:
He's a nana (7th) dan in kyudo and, as previously said, is the top kyudo person in the UK. And yes, it is a funny co-incidence. |
