Ugh, Noboru Kimura is a considerable downgrade from Ichiro Okouchi. Not sure I'll even want to watch these movies now.

How much did 3Hz do in the original series? I also noticed that "Princess Principal Crown Handler" is immediately followed by "Chapter 1". That insinuates that at least another of these movies will use this same title but with "Chapter 2", maybe even the entire series of films with Chapters 1 - 6

Aoi Koga? I can already imagine a scene where the Princess's fantasies about saving Britain are destroyed after "how cute" by Ange, lol. Well, I'm glad that they clarified the films, I will look forward to it.

I thought part of the point of the movie format was to avoid delays. Also a different writer just sounds like a bad thing, the quality of the writing and consistency of the quality won't likely be the same. The series will also likely be somewhat different, and imo I really liked a lot of the writing in the first season, so this is definitely very disappointing news.

Of course it is getting delayed. I am a big fan of Princess Principal and want these movies to come out quickly, but I don't trust that all of them will be out by mid 2022. As far as the staff changes, I am not too worried.

Hell, I want more of the whole cast! But otherwise I agree with the sentiment. I'm not going to worry about writing or visual quality until we have some actual samples to go by. |

It is a shame that Beatrice VA didn't get replaced, that is the main reason why I preferred the show dubbed, she wasn't perfect in the dub, but still miles better.

Something to note is the logo. The original logo has Ange's top hat on it, but the movie's has a crown. Now it could obviously reflect to the movie's new subtitle, but I wonder if spoiler[it also reflects on Ange's original identity.]

Loved the hell out of the series, and while any sort of personnel changes make me apprehensive, I'll withhold judgment until after it's actually released. Honestly I'll wait for the dub either way, because Sentai knocked it out of the park.
