Gosh, when they say that it's aimed at men ages 20-40, I hope that doesn't mean ecchi galore.

Yoshimoto Kogyo (吉本興業 : よしもと.こうぎょう) has some of Japan's most interesting talents, including talkshow hosts, variety show hosts, slapstick performers, theater performers, with people like "London Boots" who produces one of Japan's most successful variety show of all times, London Hearts, (they were also featured in the ED, or ending theme song, of the latest Tsubasa soccer anime), and there is Hard Gay (surveyed to be Japan's most popular comedian in 2006, beloved by a wide range of age group from kids to middle-aged adults).
We are seeing the Japanese-equivalent of people like Jon Stewart and Jay Leno spinning out manga plots and quips!!! I had always been a fan of this Osaka-based talent house, and I know many Japanese must be very excited about this extention to Yoshimoto's media vision. more web readings here: "London Hearts" official site, in Japanese "London Hearts", in Japanese, wikipedia Hard Gay, in English, wikipedia Last edited by Dorasaga on Tue Jan 09, 2007 2:21 am; edited 2 times in total |

Yes, Yoshimoto Kogyo has always been one of those agencies that you can count on when finding talent in Japan, they can't go wrong with this magazine.
