They also licensed Red Riding Hood's Wolf Apprentice (link) and Crocodile Baron (link).

Wait Dark Horse’s license for Cardcaptor Sakura has expired? My local Books a Million still sells the omnibus editions, so it seems weird they are making even more...

I guess that is why they are including perks such as cards with them and the promise of something special to whoever collects them all. Really interested to see how such a perk would work out for anyone buying them from bookshops one at a time.

I am wondering that myself. I have not even gotten around to getting the omnibus collection of Cardcaptor Sakura. What am I suppose to do now? Should I still get those omnibus collection or wait?
As for Tales of Berseria, I have not gotten around to playing that game, but I have heard good things about it's story. I would like to give the manga a try once I have played the game.

Sweet, I was hoping the Berseria manga would get localized. Definitely getting that one.

I'm kind of surprised Dark Horse's license for Cardcaptor Sakura expired which makes me wonder if their license to Magic Knight Rayearth will also expire soon and I should probably try and pick that up. I only got the second omnnibus edition because I happened to see it at the bookstore and I already have the entire manga series but they didn't have the first volume but I went ahead and got it anyway, and I have the entire series in the old unflipped Tokyopop release. I might at least go ahead and pick up volume one of the Dark Horse release if I see it at the bookstore next time just to complete the Clow Card arc and wait for the Kodansha USA release for the Sakura Card arc.

It is already being released. I think they are up to volume 5 so far.

I’ll gladly double dip for CCS.

Double-dipping on CCS is tempting. I have the second edition Tokyopop volumes, including the Clow Card arc in box sets, but had been idly considering picking up the Dark Horse omnibuses. Looking forward to seeing how these new books turn out.

Isn't that Clear Card? The original CCS manga consists of two arcs: Clow Card and Sakura Card.

Since I never bought the new English versions of CCS, this release seems like a good way to finally do that.

Isn't this a 3-volume series?

Kodansha USA's press release to us states four volumes, though, you are correct, it seems to only be three volumes in its Japanese release. We've reached out to Kodansha for clarification.

I mean if they're publishing Clear Card, might as well steal the original too.

Hmm, I already have the 4 darkhorse CCS omnibuses (and I think a few of the old tokyopop releases somewhere). Not sure if I'll go for 9 CEs...
I've only gotten around to picking up the 1st Princess Jellyfish, so that CE boxset sounds nice and tempting though.

The first series (Clow and Sakura arcs) was re-released in Japan in nine volumes. That's what we're probably getting over here.
I imported these. Guess I'll get them again. I think this'll be the fourth time collecting the CCS manga...
