Yep I can feel the hype for this one, been waiting for a proper sequel for too long hopefully DMC5 can quench the thirst. The music sounds pretty beast too.

DANTE IS DUAL WIELDING MOTORCYCLES!

And with fifteen seconds of footage Dante's arsenal already surpassed everything in Ninja Theory's game.

Videogames are saved, baby. Re7, Re2 and DMC5 ended the Crapcom period for good. Say hello to Capgod of old.

Dante is actually wielding a bike that can be turned into a pair of chainsaws! Capcom is doing justice with DMC big time. Also, we will get to see more of Dante this Tokyo Game Show next month.

Yeah in before "RE2 doesn't capture the magic of the original" or "Due to low sales the DMC series will be put on indefinite hold" leading to a new wave of butthurt and armchair quarterbacking.

Also weird you cite all the games 2 of which haven't yet released but don't mention Monster Hunter World.....or Megaman 11 with non 8 bit graphics.

That's a weird conclusion to come to, especially with the hype of RE2 and DMC5 now. Apparently you're viewing things from the mirror universe.

Not quite, they're not the Capcpom of the PS360 gen and they had a couple of bumps on this road (see Street Fighter V's first two years, Marvel Vs. Capcom Infinite's entire run and most of their ports having issues) but they have a lot more to do in order to reach "Capgod" status to me.

With that said, I'll be looking forward to this.

So was that a gameplay trailer, it sort of looked like one, but at the same time it looked like a cinematic trailer.

It looks better than... every action game. Yeah.
Though some parts looked really slow and obvious in comparison to the rest.

EDIT: it also reminds me of what FFXV was MEANT to be in a few spots.

I was being sarcastic while also bringing attention to what half the contrarian reactions to those will actually be when those games come out.

Secondly hype doesn't always pay off. Remember the hype backlash to Resident Evil 6, Street Fighter X Tekken, or Marvel vs Capcom Infinite?
