You can see their love in the series. I'm all for more Staff like this who even play together through the whole source material while exchanging ideas before going with the anime adaptation. Truly shows how much they cared for it. That game is absolutely huge.

AUDIENCE: You've been producing all of the Persona anime series. What differences did you find producing PERSONA 5 the Animation?

Adachi: The Persona 3 and 4 anime were both made years after the games were released. For Persona 5, however, we began the animation while people were still making the game. So it was a different process, and we got to work alongside the game's developers. This is also why the animation was able to come out only after 2 years.

I was not so hot on the first season. But the second season looks to be improving a lot. And episode 15 makes this stand out. Maybe the above explanation might be why, as for Season 1's pre-production they were likely doing while the game was still in production. But with Season 2, they has likely already played the game and therefore are now improving the pacing and writing. Just my theory...

Did they seriously do a fan Q&A at an American anime convention... and there were no questions about a dub? For real?

I'm glad that the directors are improving on the game and really show their passion in the anime.
