O.O Dang, as earthquake prone as Japan is, you'd think they'd use furniture straps to make sure those bookshelves wouldn't fall on people.

The earthquake was 6.1 M, and could yank any straps or brackets right out of the wall. |

Compared to other Japanese quakes of that size or higher, only 4 people so far dying is actually quite low. With a quake that size, I think at least 100 people dyin gwould be more common.
