I've never read/watched anything of Record of Lodoss War, but Hidari's illustration is gorgeous. The side-scrolling game looks kind of neat too.

Reminds me of Rabi-Ribi and Momodora: Reverie Under The Moonlight. Loved those game and I love Lodoss War so I look forward to this.

Man, I was kinda hoping for an anime remake, but a new novel project is good too. I'm really hoping we can some day get a translation of the Legends and New Record novels.

I feel the same about potential anime remake.
I want character designer/animator Nobuteru Yuuki come back as Chief AD/character designer. His drawing is still gorgeous to this day. BTW, I love his character designs in Yamato 2199/2202.

I hope they announce new anime at some point, but this totally not castlevania looks great, I want to play it.

Yeah, that looks cool. She really does move like Alucard from Symphony of the Night.

Agreed, the new Yamato's a fantastic looking show.
I'd love to see a Lodoss remake too.

It's not even almost. This is just Alucard's sprite but recolored into Deedlit's color scheme and with the collar of Alucard's coat edited out (except for the hem, which has been turned into Deedlit's ears).
...well, at least they chose to steal a really beautiful sprite?
