I've always hated Man of Action's work. All their protagonists seem to be selfish jerks with attitude problems (I'm looking directly at YOU Ben 10!!!). Sorry, I'll stick with Mega Man 11. At least Capcom knows what it's doing.

Every Man of Action protagonist is this whether they should be or not. They literally don't know how to make any other kind. Even the anime they worked on, Monsuno, had this going on.

I'm more annoyed how they botched the whole point of Rock Man up. He's supposed to use enemy powers against other enemies. Why is he using Fire Man's power against Fire Man, which he gets without even defeating him first? Unless it's a easter egg like Metal Man being weak to his own weapon, it just seems lazy.

This is a clip from episode 1 (they're doing the whole count each 11-minute chunk as its own episode thing) and it seems Fire Man is the first Robot Master he encounters. Those are likely the only weapons he has outside of the Mega Buster. We've already seen how Aki is able to duplicate abilities in this show. It's along the lines of the Ruby Spears cartoon, where all he had to do was grab the Robot Master, though this show draws it out a little longer. Having to defeat them to claim their powers probably won't work too well in long form animation. That would mean a lot of one-off villains of the week.
I also want to point out that in this clip, that's not Aki's actual personality. In an interview, one of the Man of Action guys revealed that when he "downloads" the schematics from the Robot Masters, Aki inadvertently inherits some of their personality traits. In this case, it's Fire Man's hot temper, hence the flaming pixel art transition to a grimacing Mega Man. Mega Mini (the little robot mechanic) realizes something isn't right, which is why he's concerned.
