Dumbest part of the episode imo. Not only was the suitcase too small for her to actually fit in, but it makes no sense that she could overpower an entire team at once in the open like she was. Particularly given they were already on alert and the episode took pains to make sure we knew they were trained professionals. So many ways they could have played out the scene without being outright stupid as this was.

In that sense this ad is actually the better version, at least it is taking the piss of the stupidity of it all. Rolling Eyes

^ One of the complaint above was already addressed back on the episode discussion thread at reddit, being that she could overpowered those professional since she got amazing speed in comparison with other players which is used to full advantage here, and none could barely hit them since they're actual soldiers trying to check out whether GGO is worth it to be used as a virtual battlefield for practice, so they move and acted realistically, like in a normal situation on a warzone, plus she is also small so they gotta aim below quickly too to even get a shot at her, all the while having to keep up with an impossible speed that no human could do. It isn't really so much of a stupid scene, but required you to realize that GGO is still just a game so no realism should even be expected. Don't know how she managed to really fit in that suitcase though.

This ads was kinda funny to be honest and I am hoping the sales would be as good as the main series.

Wow! This SAO spinoff doesn't deserve one bit of this ad.
This commercial is utterly wasted on this overhyped series!

You're criticizing a fictional game with reality. And yes, small humans can fit into the average suitcase. Especially adventurous pre-teens. Razz

And no, we didn't absolutely know they were trained professionals. It was assumed they were professionals. But real soldiers would've stayed clear from something in the middle of the road like that, given the threat of IEDs these days.

But hey, it was a cute commercial. Wink

...I get the feeling half the comments here are people just hating on it 'because it's SAO'. Look, I hate Kirito as much as the next guy, but this show is actually good. Not top tier, but still good. 3 hertz knows there stuff.

And that was the episode that made me realize why RENN's support attack was like that in Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax Ingnition.

Sure it was assumed, but their dialogues and actions proves that they're soldiers looking to practice in GGO. Also, them being out in the open is due to the item that they carried which could scan where the enemy leader are. There wouldn't be much need to find cover when you'd realized that there truly is nobody around, and not all of the soldiers went after Llenn once they had seen that she's very close by, which is pretty realiable on the tactical side. Furthermore, them realizing it being a game probably caused some negligence here and there too and people will make such a rookie mistake like that, even if they're coming along with the committment to take the game seriously.

SAO is a silly fantasy action show and trying to make logic out of it's action scenes is like trying to apply logic to the fight scenes in DBZ.
