I am interested this, and have been for a while. But I would need to see the Roku app available before I would sign up for this service. It is a deal breaker for me right now.
After that an app for the PS3 might be nice - though I don't think that one is in the plans...

Nice to see those who signed up at the introductory price will stay there for 2 years and get some additional benefits. Not that the price going forward is much more per month.
All in all, I’ve been pretty satisfied with their service. All I’m waiting for now is the Roku app.

Nice to see I won't be paying anymore. I already opted in for the 1080p option, so this works out perfectly. Might be able to share my account now too.

I would need it on PS3 or PS4, personally. That's where I prefer to watch my videos, after all. Being able to share with one other person is a plus though.

Cool. I'm currently paying $4.99 because I got the basic service + 1080p so I look forward to saving a buck a month for the next two years. Hey, every little bit counts.

Thinking about locking in the slightly lower price before April 9th ... although it’s only a $24 savings over 2 years. I agree about needing a roku app - I assume they will eventually branch out and have apps everywhere that crunchy and funi do.

"Two simultaneous streams per month"--does that mean two people can use one account, or that an account member can only watch 2 simulstreamed shows, or an account member can only use the app on 2 different devices?

So if I sign up right now for the $3.99 plan, will I also get the 1080p + simultaneous streams upgrade on March 26, or will I need to go ahead and choose those upgrades now in order to receive the discount? Also wondering what happens to your 2 year price guarantee if you cancel at one point and then come back later.
Furthermore, I still can't justify subscribing if almost all of HiDive's content is on CrunchyRoll, Hulu, and Amazon Prime, all of which I have. I know there's LotGH, but I kinda want to wait till the blurays come out for that.

They’re still working on their AppleTV, Roku, and PlayStation apps. However, they’ve been teasing them recently, so I imagine they’re getting close to being done. It wouldn’t surprise me if they will be launching when the service leaves its Beta stage.

Wish they would offer a yearly plan like Crunchyroll. Right now, it costs me $60/yr for CR, but it would cost me the same price for HiDive, with what feels like 10% of the content.

I keep intending to sign up for this, for Legend of the Galactic Heroes alone

They posted this afterwards:
"If you sign-up now you will lock-in your rate of $3.99 a month for the next 2 years!
(All current members will also be locked-in for 2 years)"
Not sure about your later comment.
I'm really pleased with the price point. Just another dollar while scrapping the odd options that could've been in the subscription day 1 (was fine with 1080p option since my internet can't do streams like those, but at least they let you stream on multiple devices now without extra dough.)
I would be open for additional stream usages ala netflix. Multiple profiles sounds like I could possibly let my brother or a friend make their own to stream content while I sit on my veteran ANO subscription. If that's the case, then I'm even more thrilled. Keep it up!

This all sounds like good news.
I’m already subscribed but will really appreciate the Roku app too when they manage it.
I signed up primarily for Legend of the Galactic Heroes but I’ve been enjoying some of the rest of the catalogue when I have the time. Only encountered one little bug so far with the Beta that had a work around while they worked to fix it too. So I have a bit more faith in HIDIVE than Crunchyroll even if its not fair to compare them.
