Huh. That's the same thing that took Hiromi Tsuru. Is this a common problem with female seiyuu?

Since it effects the lungs, that is possible, though why it is more common in women is a mystery.

According to the Wikipedia link, it's more common for men than for women all-round. It's just a tragic coincidence that two female seiyuu died from it.
