She looks nice I guess. I had a feeling they'd focus on that arc. July 20, huh? Should be a nice summer film.
Show me Orihime.

The more I see of this the more I don't like it. That big sword is so cringey and the robes look like a cheap shiny material, and this actress looks very bland, lacking the sharpness and spunk that Rukia has. I've never witnessed her acting skills but right now she doesn't present an imposing figure.

She looks too innocent. As far as I remember, Rukia was more tomboyish.

Looks can be deceiving. I'm honestly more interested in how the adaptation handles hollows and powers compared to how the characters look.
She's supposed to look young compared to her actual age. The ponytail suits that contrast. Chad, Ishida, and Urahara are the ones I'm interested in seeing.

She looks great!
You people of anime are stuck in anime world where all characters are the same with only their hairstyle will distinguish.
if you think hairstyle makes a character, you don't actually give a damn about that character.

I think the Gantz movies were decent even though I hate/dislike vast majority of Anime adaptations.
The girl playing Rukia doesn't fit to me, but I guess this is the director's thing he does as he put a pretty bad casts in the said Gantz movies, as well.

.....Which I find interesting considering Rukia was never really an imposing character not helped by her size and dinky drawings.

Rukia always had a certain presence that demanded respect despite her size. She had a keen look in her eye, a powerful voice, and at times, a playful personality. I just can't see all that coming from this actress.

She doesn't look like rukia though, if that makes sense. She needs like the hair style/cut and stuff... or something. But i can't judge too much yet. Lets just hope this isn't as bad as the LA's for Beck, Another, and DBE.
