Wow! So cool! Glad there are English subtitles. Was hoping there would be a short making-of documentary or Yuasa interview or Psycho Jenny plush keychain

I really hope Aniplex of America puts out a blu-ray eventually with the soundtrack (like they did for Fate/Zero and a few other shows). At least, I would assume AoA gets home video distribution rights here.

I enjoyed the show, but for that price I think I'm gonna have to pass on the premium set. I'll be fine with just a normal Blu-Ray release.

I rather if Sentai Filmworks or Discotek release Crybaby in the US on home video than Aniplex of America. I don't want to pay $80 for one Blu-Ray volume that has 3 episodes on it. |

It's a good thing I always check the source because you would have irked me had I not. It releases in 2018. |

It doesn't. The 2018 mention is the preorder period. Netflix requires total exclusivity of their originals for 1 year. Then they can be released on home video. 3 years after they can be sold to television channels. |

That's quite the wait for a home video release. I guess Primus explained it, but still, that's a long time to be holding on to a preorder. Only ever waited that long for a couple of super limited Figures.

Umm nope, it releases in 2019. Via Google Translate. |

Most likely, Aniplex Japan is the only company listed in the show's production committee (the other being Dynamic Planning which is Go Nagai's company) so an Aniplex of America release is inevitable. The only thing I hope gets included with the usual options is the Spanish dub to keep that pattern going since FUNi, Sentai & Viz have been including them, with Spanish subs, for their Netflix title releases and AoA is no stranger to this since most of their own releases have Spanish subs. |

Aniplex has licensed out many of their shows to other companies. More so in the past than these days though, to be fair. We'll see though. Just because it is Aniplex Japan does not mean it will automatically be AoA. |

I'd really like some release of the Kenji Kawai soundtrack to the 1987 Devilman OVA.

Of course, it would be more ideal for a company like Funimation, Sentai Filmworks, Discotek, etc... to distribute it. I just figured AoA will most likely be the ones since Aniplex produced it. Of course, as someone said below, they have licensed their shows to different companies before, so I guess we will see. |

Sigh... knowing Aniplex, this will probably be the only box set |
