But TNK isn't died at all (well, they lost their cash cow Highschool DxD, but it isn't the death of studio).

If this will still have a female MC like Nanatsu no Taizai, then I will definitely tune in! I have a feeling that the MC will be the friend of the previous anime's MC. Fingers crossed.

Are you sure it's Hobby Japan? I just don't see... Oh, right, those things. They're right there, how did I miss them?

No, no, I liked Seven Mortal Sins so this a welcome... same thing? Same thing.

Yes! Yes! Yes! There could not be better news today.

I adored Sin Nanatsu no Taizai, by far and away my favourite anime of the year so getting another show set this time with the Seven Heavenly Virtues is most welcome, it was hinted at in Sin and this looks like it will deliver if past experience is anything to go by.

The character designs are exceptional as expected, Sariel and Metatron of the new designs are the standouts for me. So, so happy with this, Hobby Japan just keeps hoovering up money from me.

Artland isn't dead, they're just going through restructuring.

It's all about the ti... PLOT - and well, Seven Mortal Sins isn't the worst ecchi series about nude horned (and horny, of course) ladies with big breasts. And seems like it did the job as that sexy and expensive figurines promo to Hobby Japan, even if it don't saved studio Artland from going bankrupt (well, it all come a long way before Seven Mortal Sins happened, you can't blame it for this).

If they could have made it a harem with a lame male lead and it had a simulcast, I would have been watching this show.

Nanatsu no Taizai may be so-so but if it was another "harem with a lame male lead" anime, it would have been overly generic. So glad that NnT is not like any of those generic harem anime and I hope it will continue.

John Hayabusa, not being into yuri/GL and yaoi/BL is whey I didn't watch "Seven Mortal Sins". I prefer over-the-top fan service when there is a guy and girl(s) involved. That is, they are love/lust interests.

Nay, that's was too boring if they changed Maria sex - because she was completely submissive thing to pretty much all of girls, who's done only one good thing by herself, and that's spoiler[her sacrifice to revive Lucifer in battle with Michael]. Completely dominated by girl cast beta male in over-the-top ridiculous ecchi will be like bringing eunuch in the middle of a horny harem with S&M-tendencies.

Well this incarnation of this series already has an advantage over it's predecessor. That advantage is not having Levy in the main cast. Now all they need is an animation budget that is over 10,000 yen and functioning story that isn't shoved in the last 3 episodes with bull sh!t plot twists every two minutes.

Seriously I did not hold the last half of Seven Mortal Sins in a high regard and it's animation was always atrocious. I will give this one a try because I am an optimistic masochist.
