Honestly, excluding the fact that they are horse-girls, this sounds pretty blasé and uninteresting to me. Kind of your typical idol-sports-shonen tournament series. I guess we'll see if they do anything interesting with it.

It will be disappointing if this turns out to be Idolmaster with horse girls. This series needs to be better off without a male self-insert of its own. Then again, I am giving myself false hope.

I'm hoping this series commits to its crazy premise of horse-girl racing and doesn't diverge into more generic, safe territory.

This project's greatest asset is the sheer oddity of its character names. After all, the real contest in equestrian sports consists of identifying the most absurd appellation on each list of entrants.
In this case, my money is on "Agnes Tachyon".

I suspect the characters are named after real race horses. The naming of the horses can be fun. My grandparents were breeders for harness racing horses and were having problems getting a name approved. My grandmother, getting frustrated, said to her husband ... "Tell them to call it 'My Hat'!" Well .. the other names were rejected and it ended up with the racing name "My Hat"
