Man, the cast already looked pretty good before, but now this just makes it fantastic. I’m looking forward to this one.

Dat cast! I might have to watch this now since all my favorites are in it. That's how you get folks to watch your show.

Goodness, a great wonderful all-girls anime. Hopefully, it will not be like Idolmaster, LWA, Hibike, Two Car, or that current Precure and I am all in for this show!

Since harem and isekai especially take a lot of crap, when there is an even more generic cliched genre, let me be the one to post on here.
Oh look another "lets take a bunch of girls toss them in some asinine situation and see them doing stupid stuff". For all the heat isekai takes, I don't see how stuff like Kon, Strike Witches, Panzer Girls, and the other hundred works or so dont take any heat. I mean smart phone is ripped apart because its just a fun slice of life. Guess what every single one of these shows is a slice of life where nothing happens, the characters are barely distinguishable, and the plot consist of nothing but fan service (aka moe bait). Know for the record I like a lot of these shows, just find it hypocritical how isekai/harem takes a lot of heat, yet other genres like this, yuri and yaoi don't when they have all the personality of cardboard. |

Very simple, harem is the most overrated genre in Japan. There are a lot of harem shows every year but most of the time, they are very generic and fanservicey. Same old fanservice girls, same old generic plot, same old male self-inserts, same old overused cliches, etc. Also, harem and isekai are not always together. I do not know how YOU cannot see why harem "takes a lot of heat". As for why K-On!, Strike Witches, and Girls und Panzer do not get that heat. That is because the moe genre that they are about is not as generic and redundant as most of the harem/isekai shows. Or maybe it is because that they have brought something fresh to the table, something that those shows cannot except bringing in more cheap fanservice. Personally, I prefer those three shows because they have proven that a show does not need some bland and boring male protagonist or love interest to be a success. And I am not saying this just because I am a yuri fan. |

I'm with you on this, what troubles me is the big names that are working in the animation. They could have been picked to work on other better titles like Overlord or something that actually needs to be flawless not this... As to why this title don't get heat, if it is like I think it is, than the answer is pretty simple. It's because of the Otaku... The majority of fans that bitch about are the hardcore Otaku and pretty much all of them have a "sweet spot", lolis, yaoi, yuri and all that makes them biased, that's why that only the girls(or guys) need to look okay cause they don't care for plot in there, hence the excuse "cute girls doind stupid things". Since all the Isekai/harem is shounen oriented, they are only there for something with substance, good plot, fights and etc... Since there are more bad shows than good, the heat comes from that. In shows like Kon, Strike Witches, Panzer Girls, there's "nothing wrong with them" cause they all have what Otaku are looking for. |
