ATLUS has generally been pretty good about their 3DS remakes - biggest criticism I've had has been EOU1's addition of the "grimoire system", which they massively improved upon by the time EOU2 came around - so I'm preordering this one despite having not played the original game. I'm hoping it lives up to the good things its fans say about it.

umm... i prefer having undubbed for this game. It will be ruin for fun for grinding element (wish there will be JPN audio + ENG text).

Also nice to know the release date and graphics looks more fluid and maybe we can see more new skills. So hyped to replay this game in a definite way!

I'm looking forward to playing this all over again. The English dub will be a great enhancement.

I still can't believe what they did to the princess's design. I just can't support this in any way.

I'll second that. Part of what I loved the most about the game was the distinctive art style and the music. I was lucky enough to meet Yoko Shimomura at Anime Boston one year, and had the original game guide signed by her. It's this guide that I keep flipping through because I just love the mature styles given to each of the characters. There's a sharpness in the looks which lend themselves to a sense of maturity that I just can't quite see in the redesigns.

I'm still playing the game, as I pre-ordered the Launch Edition on Principle

there are two types of people

At least the option of an undub will always be available for modders!

I'm curious as to what you're implying by this.
