I was wondering how long it would take for dub actors to realize they should be doing things like this... in Japan, they do probably as many drama CDs as anime/games. Actually, a lot of popular series are just drama CDs, the anime is an adaptation or spinoff.

Also, the dubbed Code Geass drama CDs were the greatest thing ever.

This doesn't look like my thing, and the art looks kind of bad, but I'm glad they're doing something.

Unfortunately, the black-and-white art style of this audio drama isn't for myself. However, I'm ecstatic that English seiyuu are finally starting to become interested in doing audio dramas! Smile

Starting? Voice Acting originated with audio dramas!

The thing is, audio dramas hasn't been popular for decades, as people surrendered their imaginations to TV, video games, and the internet. Then again, thanks to some internet radio channels, it has rekindled that flame of imagination. But it takes quite a bit of work to generate enough listeners to pay the bills, which is why this advertisement is good.

Though I hate to say it, but fans of the original Yu-Gi-Oh dub might be picturing Yugi and crew than new characters. Razz

That cast list has me incredibly hyped. Only nostalgic New York VA missing is Rachael Lillis.

Audio dramas are something I've always wished would take off here, so I'll be sure to support this as it gets released.
