This could be interesting, as I'm into things fantastical zoology/ecology, but this looks like it will more fluffy than anything else.

My only question to Seven Seas is: are they ever gonna release the rest of the Ballad of a Shinigami novels?

I mean if you're not a fan of fluffy content then I understand why a story packed with fluffy content isn't your cup of tea, but personally I love fluffy and serious or even a combination of the two. So either way I'm looking forward to the theme of fantastical zoology/ecology if it's done well. Hopefully it's entertaining to the both of us!

@HoboSoup oh, it's not that I dislike fluffy things, it's just that I tend to prefer a really certain portrayal of fantastical animals. (I really like how Delicious in Dungeon portrays creatures, as an example. Like how slimes are parasitic and mimics are basically hermit crabs. It's hard to explain.) Though this could certainly be good too. I hope it is.

Ah that's understandable and I can relate, Delicious in Dungeon is also one of my favorites and the author's portrayal of creatures is in my opinion fantastic. I'm hoping this Magical Beasts manga will have an interesting setup with the beasts and the world building. I believe it runs in the same magazine as "The Ancient Magus' Bride" and "The Girl From the Other Side: Siúil, a Rún", which both are series I love so I'm hoping this will be another one to add to the list from that magazine.
