It makes sense kinda with all the games that have been made. Wondering though if they're gonna do the estival versus storyline

I hope this new anime will be separated from the first one and it will be just like the OVA. Looking forward to this.

I assume this anime will do stuff with Yumi and Miyabi's teams since they weren't around for the last one.

The OVA was more like a prolouge to EV than covering EV itself. Since they are doing a remake of Burst, my guess would either be they are doing the Heijbo story. But honstly, anything SK related will be welcomed in my book. |

If they do a direct sequel to Ninja Flash, it should either be a brand new story or Deep Crimson, as DC is the game that continued that storyline.

I've played a grand number of three of their games so far, one of which sort of was covered by the first anime, so my vote for a sequel would be that they adapted the Deep Crimson storyline, yeah. Judging by what I picked up on the storyline for that PS4 game, that one follows Deep Crimson.

Hooray for PLOT!
Always thought it was strange they left it at just one season. SK is one of those ecchi franchises you could easily spin endless sequels from and rake in the cash. Glad to hear they finally decided to remedy the situation. Still a bit sour about the original series not coming with the OVA shorts, especially after they were advertised as a special feature. Incomplete collections aren't 'Complete Collections' FUNI. Got to say though It's funny how the games and the 1st season of the anime self censor. Yet for the Estival Versus OVA they went full-on nip and not just any nip but GIGANTIC nip! Yea i'm looking at you Ryōna.

If you by that PS4 game means 7even, it could theoreticaly be in either timeline, as Kagura was in PBS. Can't comment on what happened storywise as I have not played PBS, but they could use her like they did in Deep Crimson.
If its a sequel to Deep Crimson, that would be cool too, I just don't personaly see them do that, I think Takaki mentioned that timeline ended. |

Sweet. But, my two main concerns:
1. Who will animate the series, now that Artland's gone bankrupt? 2. Who will voice Haruka in the inevitable dub, seeing how Teri Rogers just disappeared off the face of the earth? |
