I'm a sucker for romance so I look forward to this. However, I had to laugh at the visual messaging here because I get "If I lock eyes with senpai one more time I'll, I'll..."(HIKE UP MY SKIRT!!). Don't really believe that is how this will be though...

Did you enjoy the first film, may I ask? As attuned as I am to the conventions of romance anime, I didn't have an ounce of praise for it beyond the fact its length is endurable. It helped itself to the typical trappings of anime confession scenes without undertaking sufficient character building to make such moments effective. It set goals that simply lay beyond the scope of an hour's running time. |
