So close. Ironic since the 2nd season of Haruhi Suzumiya finished airing while Bakemonogatari was airing. Also, the first season ended on July 3rd, the same day Bake started, but 3 years earlier.

Thought I heard a rumour last year that this was going to be 50 episodes.. Also going by the latest trailer and hearing by people who played the game, 14 episodes seems way too little, especially for a fantasy adventure (which I feel needs to be 2-cour plus always to really take in the setting and world along with the characters).

I have a feeling it will end just before or right after the Albion Citadel chapters. I'm guessing we'll get a s2 announcement after the ending of the first. I could be wrong though.

The last time we had this was with the disappearance of yuki nagato.
I have heard of rumors that this would be 2 cour. so it might be possible this would get a s2 announcement later.

They might make more cours later airing in different seasons.
This will depend on whether Cygames thinks more seasons is better for promoting the game...
