Are you kidding me? 4.3 and 4.5 for eps. 2 and 3? Is it becoming better? SRSLY?

This is getting better if you can get and enjoy the kind of show this is trying to be. It by no means is an evangelion. It's just a low budget fun show with very likable characters
I can't get enough of it |

No, the people who didn't like it stopped watching and rating it. And episode 3 is down to a rating of 4 now. I don't know about that one myself as I "purposely" "forgot" about it or something but the other two... one was better than two as character introductions made better for better entertainment than exposition and more time for humor. Not more humor, just more time for it. |

The B rating seems spot on. I was expecting to like this show from the start and it did not disappoint.

By the by, how well has Funi been keeping up on their end? How timely have they been? That seems like something to look out for going forward. If this goes well, I expect we'll see more true simuldubs.
I was pretty meh on it at first, but I think it has actually gotten good. Just good though. I actually may have underestimated this one. The idol plot was not very original but at least it had a nicely animated performance (the best one this season, and it's not even an idol show. Looking at you Idol Incidents). |

I thought episode 3 was hilarious for a very particular reason. I thought that the only reference to Sore ga Seiyuu was going to be the Futaba figure on a shelf in episode 2, but then they devoted an entire episode to a sort of homage to the group Earphones and all that. Made me kind of want to rewatch Sore ga Seiyuu and I can appreciate it way more than a normal obligatory idol episode.

Episodes 1 and 2 were on time, but episode 3 is not uploaded as of last night. I didn't see any indication as to when to expect it. To be fair, they were up front that the schedule on this one was experimental and there was a good chance that some episodes could be delayed, and I was skeptical considering the notoriously tight schedule on the Japanese end. However, I can't say that I'm not a little disappointed that a delay happened this early. |

well, for the episode 3 was the top of this series, the meta jokes of the idol singing (lalalala) and the pool from the shimoneta intro were the deal breakers; that and keeping the AV related jokes pretty tasteful.
for me wednesdays are the battle of the lolz with gonzo, deen and kyoani going neck to neck, tho I ahve to admit that deen has been a clear winner so far. |

Maybe the delay is due to all the issues with the new site? |

I did consider that, especially since certain parts of the app didn't seem to be working correctly, but ReLife and Saiki K. were on schedule last night. Throw in that they preemptively warned that delays were possible, and I have my doubts that it was the new site that did it. |

There's an update about the situation from Funi's twitter. Episode 3 is up now https://twitter.com/FUNimation/status/824085656901189632 |

When they started to hint at the answer (via garlic chicken) I actually started to laugh in whether they seriously going to fight radio waves by covering themselves in aluminium, and then they actually did it. Forget tinfoil hats to fight evil radio waves, these were full on suits.

This show makes me so ludicrously homesick for Akihabara... I'm amazed at how well they've caught the vibe, every episode has distinct landmarks from the neighborhood (ie. it's not just random, generalized background). I'm actually wearing a T-shirt right now from that military shop in episode 2.
Still, nothing is as amazing as actually being there... *sigh* |
