RIGHT STUF’S ANIME TODAY INTERVIEWS
VOICE ACTORS LIAM O’BRIEN & SAM REGAL Plus holiday high jinks, reviews & a very special choral performance in podcast’s 30th episode. GRIMES, IA, December 22, 2006 – Anime producer and mega-online anime retailer The Right Stuf International (TRSI) welcomes Liam O’Brien and Sam Regal to the latest podcast episode of ANIME TODAY. In this exclusive, two-part interview, O’Brien and Regal share how they each got involved with voice acting, script adaptation and directing, details about their upcoming projects and much more. O’Brien can be heard as “Makoto” in Boys Be…, “Taishi” in Comic Party, “Hideaki Asaba” in His and Her Circumstances and “Yoji” in Boogiepop Phantom, in addition to handling direction and script adaptation duties for Boys Be… Besides TRSI projects, O’Brien has worked on script adaptations for Bleach and Naruto and has handled direction and scripting duties for DearS, GUNxSWORD, Koi Kaze and Rumiko Takahashi Anthology. Additionally, he can be heard as “Gaara of the Desert” in Naruto, “Mitsushiro Maniwa” in Paranoia Agent, “Vincent Law” in Ergo Proxy and “Archer” in Fate/stay night. Regal is a TRSI veteran, as well: He handled script adaptation for Comic Party and both direction and scripting for Shingu: Secret of the Stellar Wars and Boys Be…, in addition to voicing the roles of “Kyoichi” in Boys Be… and “Toshio Mikami” in Shingu. Beyond his work for Right Stuf, he has both directed and handled the script adaptations for projects including Daphne in the Brilliant Blue and Ghost Talker’s Daydream. Regal is the voice of “Donatello” in the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series, and he can also be heard as “Shiro Emiya” in Fate/stay night, “Little Slugger” in Paranoia Agent, “Ino” in Kamichu! and “Faust VIII” in Shaman King.
