Well, good to see that Ash wasn't ACTUALLY eating a Magikarp in that one episode from the original series... not that I like Magikarp, dear God.

My first thought was why I haven't seen this done already.
My second thought is that this'd be a good way to introduce Americans to taiyaki. Then again, I have no idea how Americans would react to sweet red bean paste filling.

They actually did make these, years ago. Only they actually sold the Taiyaki pan so you could make them yourself. Unfortunately, it is a rare/expensive item to get ahold of these days. (Not saying you should've known about an obscure Japanese baking pan, just thought it was a neat thing to note.)

Heh, I was not familiar with that pan. That's pretty neat. And that's the reason I've never seen a Magikarp taiyaki before.

Before or after Rito accidentally pulls down her panties? Ayu from the "Kanon" anime (2006) also enjoys taiyaki.
