The staff is holding an all-night screening in February,
the message might refer to that event.

Absolutely not. How is that even "next level"?
And they wouldn't put a note at the end of an episode for an all-night screening.

They better not make a statement like that and then NOT follow up. I hate shows that are conclusive and then ruin it in the last second with a massive tease and never go anywhere with it...

Well didn't some staff say that there is a possibility for a second season if YOI sells well enough? I mean the first volume isn't still out but it is estimated to sell over 10k at least. Second season for me doesn't sound unexpected at all.

I'm sad it's over, so I need a second season. I need to see more of Viktor and Yuuri's relationship!

The event's news appeared on the homepage right after the series has ended.
And watching the whole thing in a theater instead on a television set sounds 'next level' to me.

Well the autor has mentioned that the possibility of a second season is high and after watching the final episode, I think it is needed a second season
after all, the main purpose of the show was to make katsuki yuri the winner, but that didn't happen and he was extremely close to the gold medal, so they to make yuri the winner next season and justicia for otabek too

The theory going around is that they didn't have an S2 planned and Yuri was originally supposed to win but they changed it last minute to set up a sequel instead because they knew it would sell well. We can only pray!! I don't understand how some shows get four cours planned from the start that nobody ends up watching, but this we're unsure about. Surely when they were making it they knew it would at least be a success, let alone a smash hit?

That means that Season 2 of Yuri On Ice is almost certainly on its way. It would be nonsensically disheartening not to see a continuation of it, particularly since the show has received positive worldwide appeal.

I highly doubt the "next level" was referring to the all-night event (which I hope to be able to attend but tickets go on sale when I'm still at work tonight). They wouldn't tease in such a big way a time-sensitive thing such as an event at the end of a season finale.

This is basically a confirmation of season 2! Remember that "See you next summer" message at the end of season 1 of Free? The second season was merely speculated before it was eventually confirmed! The same thing could be happening to Yuri! On Ice right now, and this just gives me more of a reason to watch it!
