Looks like Piccolo is in the pic as well, thankfully.
Goten & Trunks noticeably absent.

So we get to see Android 17 again? That might be interesting to see him as a good guy this time around.

Looks like #17 got tired of being a forest ranger. I kinda wondered how he would interact with Krillin and #18 now that they're married. Welcome back!

So Piccolo and Yamcha were passed over for Master Roshi? What is this?

If it's the teaser image I saw, Piccolo is on the team. The way the photo was taken kinda cropped him out so you can only see his arm.
Interesting that 17 is back! Looking forward to how he (and maybe his family?) interact with everyone.
Poor Yamcha. And Chiaotzu.

Hope this arc is better than the last and I hope Gohan finally gets some freaking shine. Also give Kid Trunks and Goten some older designs already

Would make sense to do if there were a significant enough timeskip.

Awesome Tien is in this arc I actually might watch it. The coolest human in the show needs more love. He gave Nappa some trouble, held off Cell, and the only one who survived Super Buu's extinction attack. It is weird that Picollo is not mentioned in the synopsis but he is in the team image for the next arc. He better be in it because he needs something to do.

While having Master Roshi as part of the line up makes little sense in continuity logic, since his power levels are are incredibly low compare to anyone else's (he should be weaker than Raditz for God's sakes!), I understand why they would put him there since he seems to be a favorite from Toriyama.
My issue is that Yamcha is not part of this initial lineup. The latest episode and the recent Yamcha spin-off Manga have prove that he has some sort enduring appeal, and I do hope he is part of Universe 7 team in some shape or form, be it support or even comic relief. Maybe I would get the reasoning if simply he wasn't really a part of the Super show, but he just appear prominently in the last episode, so that makes no sense. It could be that they don't want it the team to be too large, but then why add 17 or Roshi for that matter. I understand 17 in a high power level sense, since he should still be one of the strongest beings on Earth, yet makes no sense why now of all times to bring him back after all this time.

If you are going to question why people are on this team due to power levels Krillin, Tien, Roshi, shouldn't be on this team and Goten and Trunks should be. In fact when they fuse into Gotenks and go SS3 then they are more powerful then Android 17, 18, Picollo, and probably Gohan at this point since they actually train unlike Gohan. I am glad Goten and Trunks aren't on the team because I always found them annoying characters. Gohan was the same age during the Frieza Saga and was never anywhere as annoying as those two are.
