While I like Clamp, I'm also liking the original light novel character designs, which felt more refrshing than Clamp's design which is all-familiar, and would love to see them animated.
And yep, kinda see Syaoran and Sakura (male Sakura from Gate 7), and perhaps some other familiar faces.

Anyway, looking forward to it, a beautiful visual regardless (and Kabuki! Rare to see an anime about it)

Would it have been that hard to make a show about kabuki and not a high school mockery of it? Oh well, worse shows are on the horizon.

Damn. Looking at the cover to the novel (manga?) art style and then looking at the art style for this anime version....

Damn. Such a shame.

CLAMP isn't even TRYING to not use anything but their Syaoran design anymore huh?

Of course they're not trying you ignorant, ever heard of a thing called Tezuka's Star System? CLAMP follows it just like many other mangaka.
