PlayStation domination again! Top 10 lock down. Japan failing us again with CoD > DB. DAT Atelier decline. I never praise SAO, but when I do, its because of the PS4/Vita battle between both versions. WoFF. I still believe both versions can sell 100k retail. I have to believe.
Another PS4 increase right before Pro.

Wait, CoD sells in Japan? I always thought that multiplayer FPS games (and western games in general) barely sold at all in Japan. Not sure where I got that impression.

Did Xeno2 flopped? (It helps that there is not O. Gen version)
NO surprise with COD leading.

In terms of first week sales, Battlefield, for the first time ever, out performed Call of Duty.
Battlefield 1 shifted 113,081 in its first week, whereas Infinite Warfare did 105,764. And that was including the Limited and Special editions, too. Looks like franchise fatigue is hitting COD hard.
Poor Titanfall. Not even Japan could save it.
Xenoverse 2 unfortunately did a little worse than last year. But that was bound to happen with the game being only available on PS4 and XBONE. And XBONE is deader than disco in Japan.

Most western games don't sell much in Japan, but there are some exceptions like CoD/Battlefield. Though the Wii U exclusive Splatoon sold about 1.5 million in Japan so as far as shooters go that's the most popular one.
