I couldn't sit through 4.5 straight hours of it (maybe with subs or if I understood Japanese, and if her head didn't keep getting in the way), but skipping along through, it was fascinating watching her build it. Especially his hair, near the end of 3 and for most of 4! I also enjoyed watching her scribble in the writing on his scroll.
 Definitely suitable for framing when she's done.

That's fascinating and immensely admirable, that she can dedicate so much time and focus to refining her craft and getting that kind of detailed result. Just wow.
I too wish we could've had these videos subtitled and it's a shame the camera angle means her head blocked much of the initial sketch process. I hope one day I can finish my Saiyuki manga collection. It was such an unusual series. |
