They're 'invited' to a game? Why the hell don't they just decline? At least Battle Royale forced the kids onto the island (or were killed).

Sounds really interesting actually. It kinda reminds me of Hunger Games...I never read it but I heard it was a survival game thing.

This reminds me, I need to read the novel Battle Royale. And The Hunger Games Trilogy is overrated, but The Underland Chronicles by Suzanne Collins are my favorite novels. .. If any one Japanese person were to interpret that series, It should probably be Takeshi Obata. He's really good at drawing distinctly non-Japanese poeple, white people, drawing creatures, and coloring his arts in watercolory, dark, color. Or whoever does the colored pages for Hikaru No Go and Death Note.

Sounds like what what have seen quite a number of times before. Unless they produce it spectacularly great, with such quite tired theme could be the best candidate for "cheap way to bank on seemingly interesting concept" contest. They better not do another mediocrity.

So 2012 is over and no new infomations about the show, so is this cancelled or just delayed?I was realy looking fovard to this show it looks like Mirai Niiki my favorie.
