Actually, the USA Animate Online Shop closed on Feb. 29, 2016. You can go to http://en.animate-onlineshop.jp to verify.

Um... Aside from the logo that's pretty much exactly what animate looks like today.

I don't get why this is interesting. Yeah the style of the illustrations is different but everything from the displays to the hand drawn "pops" are no different at all.
