I really hope they get to it and make that third season, should finish things off nicely rather than leave it hanging.

If they plan to do the third season, they're need to do one thing - ask Nihei to do PROPER ending this time. Cause Sidonia manga not only ended abruptly, but also have one of the biggest asspull endings that can exist in manga history.
It simply was the one big joke to the series.

CGI may not be the best form of animation for the anime industry yet but Knights of Sidonia was one of the better shows to use it and for a lot of times it worked well with it.
I am Glad that there is still a possibility for a season 3 to this series as it is one of my fav mech shows.
They might also use it to give the series a bit of a better conclusion as the manga ending did seem a little out of place.

Remove the PINK BLOB! We don't need that in our space epic. I hope they can recover from a lacking second season.

I don't usually support CG, and most of the industry uses it in appalling manners. But Sidonia was watchable. I mean I'd prefer some honest to goodness Sakuga. But if you're gonna do CG, do it all the way. And they did. A more visually cohesive product was had in the end.

I think that because of Netflix's involvement a third season of Sidonia is possible. I liked the setting and mystery in the first season, season 2 was mostly pointless, but I hope a third season gets things back on track.

This. I loved season one... but didn't like season two. I will be thrilled if this happens though. I won't buy season two until I've seen season three though, I need to know where this is going. The entire second season was seriously pointless, and non-conslusive.

Sounds good. I've read the manga, saw 1st season, but never saw the second season. I'm not surprised at the dip in quality with the 2nd season as the manga kinda drags in the middle too. That said, the story does pick back up in the last third. The final battle in the manga is epic and I'd love to see it animated.

The ending has problems but saying it's one of the biggest asspulls in manga history or a "joke to the series" is a big exaggeration.

If all they are doing is covering manga material how can u blame them for making the series pointless it is what it is they're just following the story , then if it had deviated away from the manga and changed everyone would of complained and said "oh this original material is crap and so on , they just should've stuck to the original content".
Fact of the matter is you guys are never satisfied just enjoy it for what it is or try to atlas T have an appreciation for what these guys are doing instead of complaining about every single thing no matter what happens there's always people who are never satisfied

Uhhh, I don't think anyone was blaming Polygon for the less-than-ideal second season. We're blaming the story itself.
