This should be....INTERESTING. 
Like, in a Marie & Gali sort of way, seeing through what particular trans-Pacific telephone games the Japanese interpreted Ben Franklin (who, since they're mostly doing science, will probably only be flying a kite), "Graham" Bell and Thomas Edison. There are so many historical myths we in the west get wrong about these three in particular, what Japanese anime does with them, I think will have to be seen to be believed. |

i hope the historical figures didn't end up portrayed like the Illuminary Eyecons in Kamen Rider Ghost, words cannot describe how funny Japan-nified Thomas Edison & the Grimm brothers as Tokusatsu heroes.

My hopes for Bill and Ted: the anime seem most bogus now, the trailer had like zero important dudes in it. Me, Waka and the 8 Scientists Ok, that does sound like what I want from the premise. But the point shouldn't be just meeting them, I want to see them interact. Interpreted by the power of moe of course and it's harder to get more moe than Yui and Mugi. I will disappointed by this but I'm curious to see how it will disappoint me. |

This is one of the very few shows that I actually want to see this season. In fact, it's the one I'm looking forward to the most.

Well, er, we DID get an official Bill & Ted: the Animated Series in the states, you know. (But this was back when network Saturday-morning was dying, so you probably didn't notice.) And if I posted a clip, the mods would make this post disappear, so you'll just have to go Tube it for yourself. |
