well i really just wanted to inform everyone of this, stay away from amazon. I've had nothing but problems with them (i had a topic on this about 4 months or so back) well 6 months later (approx). vary long story short, i orderd 8 books, 2 i had to return due to the fact they were "used" when i orderd "new" then had to wait a few months for those not to mention anoter book id return but i dont care to wait another 3 months... , and a final book i never got.
every month they sent me an e-mail asking if i still wanted the book, each month id say yes, this previous month i asked if they could just write it down that i would always want the book and stop e-mailing me every month makeing me reply to it, well they couldnt do that.. whatever. so due to my classes i have to check my e-mail weekly so its not really a problem, anyway they didn't e-mail me.. and just cancelled my order.. nice huh? it gets nicer. their was only one book left in that order.. my "free" buy 3 get one free book. so i e-mail them and they tell me their sorry and bullshit me and tell me theirs nothing they can do.... but they gave me a 5$ coupon for amazon, which BTW cant be used on borders stuff... so now im out the 10 $ book and the $5 SH. and i cant use the coupon.. now over the time I've talked with these people i get the feeling A. they are computers... B. they have stuff already written and just copy and paste it C. are from another country or D. are just plain stupid. woudlnt urprise me if all were correct. in the future i will either not use amazon or order another 80$ worth of books then just say the never showed up, either way all the crap I've had to deal with from them is insane and i think its the least they could do for me. if anyone is intrested on the older details its in another of my posts and is more lengthy. also this has nothign to do with this, but I've notice them doing false advertiseing or at the least vary missleading advertiseing. one thing I've inforemed them about that they still have not changed is they have a book #2 listed as book #1, nice convenient mistake considering book one is currently unavailable... so i dont think they will sell many 2's when they dont have any 1's... the second one is some beef jerky they sell, the picture of the jerky bag itself is the one for the 3.6 oz bag BUT in the small print they kindly inform you they are selling the "1 oz" bag. nice.. you think your getting an awsome deal, untill the package arrives. i didn't een notice this untill the 3 time i viewed the page over course of several months. everything i have said here is entirely true and i stand by it, i dont want this getting out, as i can probally get into some trouble for saying this, so use this info to decide wether or not you want to use amazon. also consider this, if its true its true, if im lieing which im not but if i were what could they do to piss me off so much to make me say this???? |

While that does suck for you, I must say that I have ordered over 50 items from Amazon (actually from Amazon, not Amazon sellers) over the years and have never had a problem. Your anger towards them is a little extreme considering the relatively small monetary loss you incurred, and the fact that you could have cancelled the orders at anytime without having to wait so many months with nothing happening.

it wasnt individuals, it was amazon teamed with borders, and i dont care about the time i just wanted the book. and its not the 15 dollars its the fact they dont care and the stuff they are willing to do. they just stink.
LOL mental anguish, and me haveing to "babysit" them plus 15$ they definetly owe me more then a "im sorry" and heres a useless 5 $ coupon. |
